Florence sits north of the river. University of North Alabama sets the calendar. W.C. Handy’s birthplace and the Rosenbaum House (Frank Lloyd Wright) are why tourists come. The W.C. Handy Music Festival and the Renaissance Faire take the streets. This is not FAME and it is not Ivy Green; those belong to the south-bank towns.
The shop is 4529 Winchester Road in New Market, Madison County. Florence is about an hour and a quarter west on US-72 / the river corridor. We deliver to Florence driveways, UNA-area houses, and people staging for Wilson Lake. Driving a Class A across the valley yourself is optional, not required.
Wilson Lake and Joe Wheeler are the water from here. Trail of Tears commemorative weekend is a real date on the calendar. Tell us campus, downtown, or the lake so we do not try to leave a motorhome on Court Street during Handy.
