Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or renting an RV from Rocket City RV Rentals, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Rental Eligibility

To rent an RV from us, you must:

  • Be at least 25 years of age (21 with additional requirements)
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Provide valid payment method and security deposit
  • Complete our rental agreement

Reservations and Payments

Booking

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit. Final payment is due before or at the time of pickup. All prices are subject to change until a reservation is confirmed.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. The deposit amount varies by RV type and will be communicated at booking. Deposits are refunded within 7-10 business days after the RV is returned in satisfactory condition.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 30+ days before pickup: Full refund minus processing fee
  • Cancellations 14-29 days before pickup: 50% refund
  • Cancellations less than 14 days before pickup: No refund

We recommend travel insurance to protect your investment.

RV Use and Restrictions

Permitted Use

The RV may only be used for lawful recreational purposes. The renter is responsible for ensuring all drivers are listed on the rental agreement.

Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Off-road driving or unpaved roads (unless specifically permitted)
  • Exceeding posted speed limits or towing capacity
  • Subletting or unauthorized driver use
  • Smoking inside the RV (cleaning fee applies)
  • Transporting hazardous materials
  • Use for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Travel outside the continental United States without prior approval

Mileage

Rentals include a specified number of miles. Additional miles are charged at the rate specified in your rental agreement. Unlimited mileage packages may be available.

Pickup and Return

Pickup

Allow adequate time for walkthrough and orientation. You are responsible for inspecting the RV and noting any pre-existing damage. Pickup times are by appointment.

Return

RVs must be returned at the agreed time with fuel tank at the same level as pickup. Late returns may incur additional charges. The RV should be returned in the same condition as received, with tanks emptied (unless delivery service applies).

Insurance and Liability

Basic insurance coverage is included in the rental rate. Additional coverage options are available. The renter is responsible for:

  • Deductible amounts in case of damage
  • Damage not covered by insurance
  • Loss of use during repairs
  • Damage caused by prohibited activities

Damage and Breakdown

Renter Responsibility

Report any damage or mechanical issues immediately. Do not attempt repairs without authorization. We provide 24/7 roadside assistance for covered breakdowns.

Damage Assessment

Damage will be assessed upon return. Repair costs and loss of rental income may be charged to the renter's security deposit and/or credit card on file.

Limitation of Liability

Rocket City RV Rentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our RVs or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the rental.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rocket City RV Rentals, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our RVs or violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Madison County, Alabama.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
