RV Rental Policies

Reservation, Payments, and Cancellations

• The remaining balance for a reservation is due 30 days prior to the rental start date.

• The payment method used must match the name of the reservation holder.

• Damage deposits are returned within 5 to 10 business days if there are no damages.

• If damages occur that require quotes or repairs, the deposit can be held for up to 60 days.

• Cancellations made up to 30 days before the rental receive a 50% refund.

• No refunds are given for cancellations within 30 days of the rental, early check-outs, no-shows, or weather interruptions.

Pick-Up and Return Rules

• The default rental start time is 4:00 p.m. and the default end time is 10:00 a.m., though these vary based on location.

• Failure to return the RV on time will incur a $100 per hour fee.

• Fuel must be refilled to at or above the departure level to avoid a $6.25 per gallon refueling charge.

• Gray and black septic tanks must be completely emptied before returning unless prepaid dump services were arranged.

• There are absolutely no refunds for returning the rental early.

Cleaning and Miscellaneous Fees

• RVs must be returned clean; otherwise, an additional basic cleaning fee of $1 per minute will apply.

• A heavy usage fee of $250 to $1000 may apply if GPS tracking shows alerts for hard braking, fast starts, or speeding.

• Generator usage includes 2 hours per night booked, with a fee of $5.50 per hour for additional usage.

• Lost keys will result in a $100 replacement charge.

• A 10% processing fee is added to miscellaneous charges like damage fees, late fees, and toll road charges.

Pets and Smoking

• Smoking inside the rental is strictly prohibited and carries a fine of up to $750 for proper cleaning and disinfection.

• Pets are permitted in designated pet-friendly units with a one-time pet fee.

• Any pet not disclosed at departure will incur a minimum $200 cleaning fee plus a $1 per minute rate charge.

• Bringing a pet into a strict "no pet" RV will result in a fee of up to $750.

Travel Restrictions and Prohibited Uses

• Travel to Mexico is strictly prohibited.

• Attending Burning Man or the Electric Forest Festival is strictly prohibited and results in full forfeiture of the damage deposit.

• Travel on non-public roads, unpaved roads, dirt roads, or off-road areas is prohibited and may void insurance coverage.

• Accessing or using the roof of the vehicle is prohibited and will result in full forfeiture of the damage deposit.

Damages and Maintenance

• Any damage to awnings is 100% paid out of the damage deposit, and renters are strongly advised against using them.

• Renters are fully responsible for any tire damage, blowouts, or punctures that occur during the rental.

• Renters are fully responsible for any windshield damage while the RV is in their possession.

• During freezing weather, renters must use a certified RV Tech to winterize and dewinterize the camper as needed while in their possession.
